What happens when the historic Rendon Hotel in downtown Los Angeles comes back to life for just a few days? Haunting visuals illuminate the rooms and stories are brought to life through film, theater, and community. We were thrilled to be a part of Art At The Rendon: STORIES, an interactive art experience in which each room was decorated and filled with performers who stepped into character to give a glimpse into the hotels complex history.Read More

Philip and Paulina’s wedding was one for the books. Set at Monarch Beach Resort in Orange County, California, it covered all the necessary bases to be a superstar wedding, and we were thrilled to provide both AV and lighting for such an electric event.
The romantic ceremony was held outdoors. The couple ditched the traditional wedding aisle for a modern runway that allowed for the perfect lighting. Guests took their seats on both sides of the elevated runway as Philip waited patiently for his bride under a beautiful flower arch designed by LA Premier. Paulina made her descent down the stairs and glided gracefully down the aisle to meet her groom.
To cap the end of a beautiful traditional Jewish ceremony, the couple exchanged their vows and “I do’s”, and photographer Katie Beverley captured their first moments as newlyweds in front of a backdrop of fireworks that lit up the night sky.
But the fun didn’t end there. After the ceremony, guests headed into one of the ballrooms at the Monarch Beach Resort, furnished by LA Best Rentals, to share a night of dancing and laughter. We proudly joined the team of vendors by lighting up the reception from the stage to the dance floor. From beginning to end, the couple was showered with love by their family and friends and celebrated in a way that can only be described as a combination of tradition and novelty.
Bright, bold, and full of vibrant colors, Josh and Sinead’s engagement party was one for the books! The outdoor affair created a banquet under the trees in a lavish celebration of the happy couple’s new engagement. We were thrilled to work alongside so many talented vendors to transform the simple space into a truly lush dinner party where guests dined and danced the night away. In a gorgeous green pasture surrounded by a lush mountainous landscape, Grace and Ceron tied the knot in a stunning ceremony that left everyone breathless. It was after the couple said their vows, however, that The Lighter Side truly made their night shine. As guests made their way to the reception, they were met with a simple tented setup that dazzled in the dark. Planner Sarap Park Events teamed up with coordinator Bella Destinee to facilitate the evolution of an unforgettable afterparty.
We loved partnering with Premiere Party Rents, Iron Grace Rentals, and Poppy Design Co florals to bring together an atmospheric space that was absolute magic from the ceiling to the floor. The Lighter Side team wove cool blue lighting into the intricacies of the tenting to create a seamless illumination that set a romantic mood.

Chanel and Farz looked movie ready as they celebrated their wedding day at Beverly Hills Hotel. Dressed in a princess cut gown and her groom attired in a black suit, our lovely couple were turning heads from their own beauty to the style they incorporated to every decor piece found in their wedding.
Their ceremony looked like the scene of an hollywood film of two lovebirds who celebrated their big day in pure elegance. White wooden chairs were lined with standing candles that sat firmly in tall, golden frames lighting the way down the aisle. The set up framed the white path that led to floral crowned chuppah backed by the beautiful greenery of the hotel.
International Event Company incorporated this incredible style into the reception for a continued night of fine celebration. Entering the room, you are met with the beautiful aura of white florals that take over the room. High ceilings and lighted chandeliers, their reception was nothing short of elegant. Each mirrored table was accompanied with white, round-backed chairs with gold accents. White blooms lined the table while a larger arrangement served as the centerpiece. This birthday celebration was such a special delight. The entire room was filled with a dark ambiance to highlight to tone of the purple decor. This Bar Mitzvah was held at the The Beverly Hilton and planned by Events By Goli.
Each table had a mirrored glass cover that based a mirrored vase and purple florals. Around this gorgeous display were candles that made the table that much more elegant. Placed at every seat were black-toned dinnerware with gray cloth napkins.
The children were entertained by music put on by LIV Entertainment Group who rocked the night. Parents also got to enjoy the party with drinks from the bar placed in the back center of the room. It held the same theme with mirrored tile and clear glasses. Even the silver bar-rack that stood inside the squared bar reflected the purple haze from the party decor.
Framing the purple tiled dancefloor, white couches were added to add an element of intimacy for this grand celebration. Shapes varied from couch to couch to give the room a modern twist, with each couch holding purple, shimmery pillows and matching floral arrangements at each coffee table.

Last month, we had the pleasure of incorporating our lighting skills for a wonderful celebration thrown for Andy Cohen by the members of The Real Housewives. The lavish theme was “A Star is Born” and was held at the Palm Restaurant in Beverly Hills.
Kyle Richards, Nene Leakes, Ramona Singer, Teresa Giudice and Vicki Gunvalson teamed up to hire Cobalt Events and Eddie Zaratsian to create an unforgettable baby bash for Andy Cohen. Tables were decorated with blue and yellow accents to complement the stunning flower wall that marked a giant “Star” Design. OC Balloon Bar’s design filled the room with giant balloons mimicking a celestial-hollywood vibe.
