Follow this inspiration for the gorgeous wedding held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Southern California. Rina and Daniel celebrated their union with friends and family at their elegant ceremony held between the walls of the draped hotel.

beverly wilshire hotel, the lighter side,The decorated room of the ceremony was clothed in ivory drapes provided by Latavola Linen. It created the perfect backdrop for the tall greens that added an effeminate, yet bold, ambiance. The spotlights added in by The Lighter Side stress an honorary focus down the aisle. The front of the aisle held its opening with the drapes being held on each side to mimic a frame-like entrance. This set up ensured that every person would be looking toward the bride as she made her way to her husband-to-be.

The white carpet acted as the aisle which led to the chuppah also decorated in popping florals. Each step the bride would take down the white carpet was greeted with the most lucious white roses arranged in a white vases. The separation of color came from the large greens that added volume to the large, potted roses. The bride finally made her grand entrance, walking arm-in-arm with her parents, each carrying a lit candle. She walked toward the entrance of the room that was lined with layers of draping linens and the perfectly decorated chuppah.

Soft drapes and bold florals were not in the reception. Each table was dressed in large bouquets that matched the arrangements from the ceremony. The dance floor had the distinct set-up with a flower wall that divided the dance floor. The entire room had a romantic dim from the spotlights that gleamed between the drapes that prettied up each wall.

Kim & Mike Wedding at the Vibiana

By | Wedding Inspiration, Weddings and Special Events | No Comments

Kim & Mike had a gorgeous outdoor wedding at the Vibiana in Downtown Los Angeles. The couple made use of the veiled patio and used minimal decor to add to its natural feel. The tile and the wooden palettes gave the earthy setting a rustic feel. Guests got to enjoy seating under the gorgeous hanging lights that led to the standing palette backdrop where the bride was to say her “I Do’s.”

The unique placement for this ceremony was the various seating that was used for each guest. Each row incorporated an assortment of chairs that lined the luscious greens which rowed the aisle. The list of seating followed: rustic wooden chair with white cushions, silver metal chairs, screen-backed seats, various armchairs and cushioned benches. The courtyard at the Vibiana is nothing short of flourishing greens, giving the ceremony an authentic outdoor experience.

The hanging lights and surrounding gleams were able to bring this night time wedding come to life. The bride was able to make her way down the aisle with the spotlight guiding her to groom-to-be.

Blooming greens and white decor filled the main hall for the natural theme wedding. To match the creative placement of the reception, guests were able to enjoy a mixture of seating options with long, wooden family-styled tables and white, clothed 4×4’s. Each placement faced clear utensils and decor. The clear vases held an arrangement of long, lean greens that stood between illuminated candles.

The room focused its attention to the center of the cathedral with the lighting illuming the middle of the room. The brightest light ran across the center of the room to the base of the couple’s table. From an outdoor night time ceremony to a vibrant dining experience, Kim and Mike had a gorgeous wedding.

Abrams Wedding at the Beverly Hills Hotel

By | Wedding Inspiration, Weddings and Special Events | No Comments

Get enchanted with the gorgeous event held for the Abrams Wedding at the Beverly Hills Hotel. This nighttime event was framed by the overflowing greenery in the courtyard of the hotel premises. The aisle was created by a long, white carpet that held its entrance under a finely decorated gate. The aisle paved its way along all-white, wooden benches where the couple would stand in front of a bushel of white arrangements. This illusion was made to allow the grand entrance as the bride made her way through the open gates. The special lighting gave effect as it shone onto the graceful bride who walked with her veil carried in front of her standing guests. The couple in love were gleaming with their own gleeful radiance.

Elegance was spread throughout the halls of the luxurious venue. Each table was glass to complement the all white chairs. Each guest would be seated to a mini bouquet of white roses that sat neatly under thicker bouquets that mimicked its smaller version. The walls were lined with seamless drapes and framed the green wall with a floral decoration. The floral backdrop gave center stage to the entertainment provided by  90210 Entertainment. The dance floor was decalled with the initials of the joyous couple and highlighted by the special lighting provided by The Lighter Side.

The guests of honor sat neatly behind the initials created by the golden silhouette lettering. They faced the stage and enjoyed the glass guest tables that were arranged the candlelit room.

Rebecca & Seth | A Montage Beverly Hills Wedding

By | Wedding Inspiration, Weddings and Special Events | No Comments

Rebecca and Seth held their wedding at the gorgeous Montage Beverly Hills. Their special event was planned by the creative designs of Marketa Events and was captured by Laurie Bailey Photography. The entire day was filmed by Time Line Cinema.

The entire wedding was fully-kosher and served buffet style. The various buffet tables gave guests a variety of options with selections such as Sushi, Mexican, and sliders. The main dinner included chopped salad and a meat option between steak, chicken or salmon. The couple decided to skip on the traditional cake and opted for a dessert table with a variety of cakes, cookies and ice cream. It also held popular choices of candy and fruits.

The wedding also included a lot of beautiful traditions. “Under  the chuppah, the bride walked around the groom seven times,  as it took seven days to complete the world so to the seven  circles signify the completion of the couple’s quest to find each  other.” – Rebecca.

The theme was a blend of rustic elegance and natural looking greenery. The floral design included purple flowers decorating the chuppah and the reception space. Lights were strung across real trees that were placed inside the room which solidified the natural elegance, with the extra help of dim scattered candles.

Negar & Joshua | Featured on Grace Ormonde

By | Press, Wedding Inspiration, Weddings and Special Events | No Comments

We are thrilled to share that Negar and Joshua’s stunning wedding at the Beverly Hills Hotel has been featured on Grace Ormonde!

See their love story below via Grace Ormonde.

Joshua Akhtarzad was at a birthday party for his cousin Jessica’s twins when he met Negar Motlagh, who was best friends with Jessica’s younger sister. “We had never met until that day; and although I had a crush on her instantly, it wasn’t until months later that we actually connected,” he recalls.
Despite the time lapse between encounters, the “crush” was mutual. “When I first met Josh, I was attracted to his sense of humor and charm,” says Negar. “He made me laugh, and I knew I had met a new friend. Then he made me love, and I knew I had met my life partner.”
For Negar and Josh, the wedding planning process was a breeze and culminated in a fairytale-like celebration. One of the bride’s favorite moments was taking in the flowers and décor during the wedding ceremony. “Picture this,” she describes, “flower-covered chandeliers above, while walking down the aisle in a meadow of various flowers below. Once we got under the chuppah, which was covered in an ombre of white and purple roses, Rabbi Wolpe blessed us with his words as he pronounced us husband and wife. Also, our vows really knocked it out of the park – lots of laughter and love.” – Grace Ormonde

Candles peaked between the floral arrangements Similar to the bouquets, each candle gave dimension with variation in height.
